Even though they were discouraged, they didn't let that affect how hard they tried or how much fun they had.
The boys became good friends and they worked really well together.
I was proud of Andrew for sticking with it even though it was hard to play the teams that had already beat them. I was suprised to hear that Andrew still loved soccer.
( this is Andrews best friend Garrhet)
Andrew was able to go to his first overnighter with the Boy scouts. He was a bit reluctant to go but thats what parenting is all about right? Making your kids do things they dont want to do.

I can't believe another school year has started. Everyone was pretty excited to start school this year. The kids are at 3 different schools now.
Andrew will get to do neat things in science this year. He is trying to be the first to beat the 100 book goal this school year. He also got 100% on the reading portion of the WASL test. Something they said they have never seen before.
Katrina is finding that school can be alot of work. She has never had to put too much effort into school before. This year will be a good learning experience for her. She is being very responsible about doing all the many tasks she is assigned.
Brianna is loving school and she has lots of friends. She is taking German this year. She got 100% on her first test in that class. We are very proud of her.
Brianna is in the 10th grade and loving school this year!
I had the kids help me make a new recipe this last week and we loved it. It even has oatmeal and coconut in it. Yum it was good!
